Exercises to Lose Weight Quickly With Elliptical Machines
Losing weight is one of the toughest challenges to undertake in life as we constantly strive to look and feel good about ourselves. Our lives are busy enough without having to face more challenges. What we need are exercises to lose weight quickly.
I believe that I have found the solution in elliptical machines. Ellipticals provide a low-impact, full body workout which burn just as many calories as a treadmill and help sculpt perfectly toned bodies in no time at all. What’s more is that not only do they come equipped with all the features and specifications required to perform exercises to lose weight quickly but they are also completely affordable for the home.
The majority will have pre-programmed workouts, resistance settings, forward/reverse motion, dual action handles and foot pedals and some will have a power incline. These features are more than enough to perform exercises to lose weight quickly.
Workouts should be performed at least four times a week, lasting for at least 30-45 minutes if you really want to lose weight quickly. You need to be breaking a sweat, otherwise you are not optimizing your workout for fat burn.
A constant pace is not half as effective as training with intervals. Elliptical machines are perfect for this and it is performed by alternating average-intensity pace with high-intensity bursts of 1-2 minutes, depending on how fit you are.
However, the emphasis is how you incorporate the use of the features available. As you become fitter, you can begin to increase the resistance, to increase the intensity. This will make your body work even harder to burn fat for energy. Don’t be afraid to use the reverse motion either. This not only targets muscles that you would never use in forward motion but again, it will make the body work harder, as it is a much harder exercise to perform.
For those lucky enough to have elliptical machines with an incline setting, this can be the killer of all exercises to lose weight quickly. The only restriction with incline is that interval training may be ruled out as the stride angle is altered and restricts fast motion. At the same time, calorie burn is greatly optimized and it still works the complete body.
The great thing about elliptical machines is that not only can you perform intense exercises to lose weight quickly but by having one in the home, you have no excuses for not working out. It gives you the motivation to keep at it and you can enjoy your home comforts while that fat disappears.
