Most people who are once again trying to lose weight, do not look forward to a long drawn out regimen that bores you to tears. These routines have proven to be pretty ineffective in the past anyway, so there just has to be a better way.

There has actually been proof to the supposition that long-period, intense workouts will not do much in shedding the pounds. When done at a lower intensity level, these types of exercises may produce some positive results, but your body could get the wrong notion and end up stockpiling more fat, expecting you to burn fat at a slower pace because of the low intensity level.

Catabolism – the process of breaking down molecules and produce energy.

Anabolism – the opposite of catabolism, the process of storing unused energy in the body.

Now, if you have more muscle, your body needs more energy to maintain it.

Yes, that’s right, if you have more muscle you burn more calories just by being alive!

Don’t neglect the mind!

Exercising regularly increases your sense self control, your self esteem and your confidence.

I’ll say it again:

Self control,

Self esteem,

Confidence.

Sound familiar?

Yes, these are the same reasons I wanted to lose weight for!

Do your workouts, It will make you feel good!

And when you feel good you are more competent and your weight loss efforts are more fruitful.

Then you’re getting yourself out of that vicious circle of eating too much and feeling bad about it and into this circle:

You work out regularly then you feel good,

You feel good then you have more motivation to keep at it.

In fact, some people downright hate exercising. The word ‘exercise’ seems to have a negative image like ‘hard work’.
